Visible mending is a great way to repair your old clothes, and turn holes into design features in a creative way.
This workshop has been adapted to be done at home, at a time convenient for you, as an alternative to an in-person workshop.
There are two options available for this workshop, one including materials, the other without. Both include access to a Facebook support group.
You will be emailed:
A private video link where I show you how to darn a hole in knitwear from the front.
A private video link where I show you how to Swiss darn- great for reinforcing worn areas of knitwear.
A step by step pdf guide covering the same darn from the front as the video, a darn from the back, how to use Swiss daring to reinforce worn areas and create pattern, and two darning variations.
A link to the Facebook group if you would like to join.
If you select materials you will receive by 1st class post / standard international:
1 knitted lambswool fabric to practice on. Knitted here in the studio by Nina.
10 mini skeins of lambswool in a variety of colours, hand wound by me, Flora. There will be enough yarn to practice with and make a start on your own projects.
Use code YARN at the checkout for free postage. (Please note the postal system is slower just now due to COVID-19, and international orders are taking 2+weeks to arrive).
