'Loose Threads' Art & Design mixed media:
An exhibition linking the past to the present. A collection of original functional textiles / wearable art (hand-knitted), incorporating maker Fiona Potter's handspun yarns created from various fibres, silk, cashmere & wool to create texture in the designs.
A display of Antique / Vintage equipment & textiles - functional, inspiring.
Alongside the textile work will be exhibited a selection of mixed media artwork.
This event is part of Craft Week Scotland 2021, a nationwide celebration of Scottish contemporary craft running from Monday 25 – Sunday 31 October 2021.
