Open Call for Participation for Homo Faber Fellowship 2025/26

The Michelangelo Foundation has launched its 2025-26 program pairing artisans with emerging talents for a six-month fellowship.

Closing date: 20 Feb 2025

The Michelangelo Foundation is launching its 2025-26 edition of the programme pairing established artisans with emerging talents to transmit their skills and develop their businesses by hosting a fellow in their workshop via a sponsored, 6-month placement.

Homo Faber Fellowship 2025-2026 will benefit 25 established artisans based in Cyprus, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom whose craft has a strong connection to the local area and heritage. Each artisan must apply as a duo with a fellow who can come from anywhere in the world.

The fellowship targets established artisans who demonstrate a willingness and need to transmit their skills to an aspiring craftsperson to secure the future of their craft. Established artisans will train fellows who are at least 18 years of age, recent crafts graduates, and show talent and passion, whilst striving to become professional artisans.
