Glasgow Sculpture Studios are recruiting for a new Production Facility Manager.

The Production Facility Manager (PFM) is a key role within the organisation, responsible for running Glasgow Sculpture Studios (GSS) communal workshop facilities, and ensuring these meet a high standard of health and safety compliance. The PFM manages a small, dedicated team of technical staff to deliver the day-to-day operation of the workshops, ensuring safe access for users and providing levels of technical advice and supported access. This team also supports the needs of the Artist Residencies and Learning & Engagement Programmes.
In tandem with this, the PFM will take forward GSS’ fabrication service which produces high-profile international work for many of the UK’s leading artists. This service generates important income to support the organisation’s charitable purpose. The PFM will develop the practical skills and knowledge held within the technical team and ensure that GSS delivers a high-quality, profitable service.
Normal working hours: Full Time, 35 hrs.
Salary Scale: £30,000
