Join designer and furniture maker, Kirsty McKain of HENN, to learn the basics of woodworking, as you practice your new skills on a charcuterie board and hand carved knife. This course is designed to be an introduction to woodworking for those that have always wanted to give it a try, and not had the time or space. Participants will learn about machining timber, bandsaw and hand routing techniques for your own charcuterie board, as well as carving a cheese knife and spoon.
All materials are included – this course sets the foundation for taking all Beginner/Novice Level EOW Woodworking courses.
Monday Evenings, 4 Weeks.
