For this online workshop with Le Petit Moose, all materials will be posted out ready for you to get making via Zoom on Sun 14 November.
Working with bold colours inspired by the ever-changing landscapes from her world travels, Stephanie (aka Le Petit Moose) creates woven, knotted and tufted contemporary wall hangings full of rich textures. Working with soft fibres, Stephanie will guide you through the steps of creating your own hand-woven modern coasters.
During this online weaving workshop, you’ll use soft natural cotton yarn and weaving sticks to create a pair of modern coasters. These versatile woven circles can take on various moods and styles depending on your chosen colours. In addition, the techniques learned can be transferred to create larger circular pieces such as a trivet or wall art.
You will have the option of two colourways – soft pastels with a touch of pink or darker, modern colours.
