Transforming a sheet of silver into a piece of jewellery can be a fulfilling and exciting creative process.
This intensive jewellery summer school for beginners will introduce you to the traditional techniques and tools used to make jewellery.
The aim of this course, using demonstrations and structured guidance from tutor Jenny Deans, is to instil confidence as you learn techniques such as sawing, soldering, annealing, filing, texturing and shaping. Many of these skills can easily be perfected at home so this is the ideal kick-starter week for a longer jewellery journey.
It is also ideal if you just want to come along and create for the week.
