Classes take place outwith the shop opening times, usually weekday evenings and Sundays.
Paper resist is an ancient technique that can be used to make beautiful contemporary ceramics. In this class you will be given a practice tile, a vase and a mug to decorate which will have been pre-made on the wheel.
Over the three hour class you will get an in-depth demonstration of the technique and then plenty of time to experiment and decorate your pots. You will be able to choose from a number of designs provided, and will also be shown how to make your own to use.
This class is perfect for absolute beginners, and those with experience who want to learn a specific skill.
Tea and coffee is included.
