Are you passionate about a career in the arts? The Henderson-Inglis Bursary at the Pittenweem Arts Festival offers a unique opportunity for emerging artists and craftspeople. Named in honour of long-term supporters David Henderson and Sheila Inglis, the award provides practical support and a valuable step toward establishing a professional career.
Who can apply:
- Final-year students or recent graduates from degree, HND, or further-education arts and crafts courses
- Students who completed arts and crafts courses within the last three years
- Self-taught artists who began their practice within the last three years
The successful applicant receives accommodation, exhibition space in a prime shorefront location during the Pittenweem Arts Festival (1–8 August 2026), and a £750 contribution toward expenses. A selection panel reviews all applications and votes at its discretion to choose the recipient. Shortlisted artists will also take part in a shared exhibition at a central festival venue.
