Alison Kinnaird has an international reputation for her work in glass and music. She has combined ancient engraving traditions with modern techniques and lighting technology, to explore contemporary subjects. From small, intimate pieces to large architectural projects, her work can be seen in public and private collections worldwide, such as the V&A Museum, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, the Alexander Tutsek Foundation, Munich and the Corning Museum of Glass, NY.

This is an open studio exhibition, for which she opens the converted church, her workplace for forty years. It is twelve miles south of Edinburgh, in the historic village of Temple.

Shillinghill is a large and airy building with beautiful spaces in which to show the work and all precautions will be taken for a safe and comfortable welcome. If people would prefer a private view, this can be arranged, and appointments by telephone are welcome during August and thereafter.
