During this 2 day workshop you will explore a particular aspect of Silver Clay, its ability to be fused onto wire to create jewellery without the need for soldering.
You will learn how to form silver and steel wire with pliers and embed it into clay. How to form, texture and cut silver clay and also layer up sections of clay to create more complex designs. Over the course of the weekend you should be able to produce a number of pairs of earrings and simple lapel or hair pins or a couple of more complex earrings or a brooch.
Suitable for silver clay beginners.
Materials:
£30 of silver, including 10g of silver clay.
