It’s Degree Show season and Scotland's art schools, colleges and universities are preparing for their highly anticipated end-of-year showcases, presenting a new generation of artists and makers to the world. For all craft enthusiasts it’s the perfect opportunity to explore new ideas from emerging talents.

As the 2026 academic year comes to a close, we are celebrating Scotland’s unique culture of craft and design, and the students, teachers, and institutions that encourage bold ideas, material exploration and conceptual thought.

Read on for our round-up of Scotland's Degree Shows taking place this month. All are free to attend, though some venues may ask you to register for a free ticket. If you aren’t able to visit in person most institutions now present an online showcase of students work that you can view via their websites.
